많은 과학에서 사용되는 용어가 질병, 질병, 방법을 설명하는 그리스어 단어들을 포함하고 있다는 사실이다.
특히 의학의 경우 존재하는 43,716개의 단어 중 거의 절반(정확히는 20,346개)이 그리스어이다.
